What is a CSA?
"Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) generally focus on the production of high quality foods for a local community, often using organic or biodynamic farming methods, and a shared risk membership–marketing structure. This kind of farming operates with a much greater degree of involvement of consumers and other stakeholders than usual — resulting in a stronger consumer-producer relationship. The core design includes developing a cohesive consumer group that is willing to fund a whole season’s budget in order to get quality foods. The system has many variations on how the farm budget is supported by the consumers and how the producers then deliver the foods. CSA theory purports that the more a farm embraces whole-farm, whole-budget support, the more it can focus on quality and reduce the risk of food waste or financial loss.
Typically CSA farms are small, independent, labor-intensive family farms. By providing a guaranteed market through prepaid annual sales consumers essentially help finance farming operations. This allows farmers to not only focus on quality growing but can also level the playing field in a food market that favors large-scale, industrialized agriculture over local food."

We are pleased to offer Meat CSA Shares once again. One Meat CSA Share will include 30 lbs of meat that is delivered to one of our delivery points. You can choose from a Pork CSA Share or a Combo CSA Share. A combo share will include 15 lbs of beef and 15 lbs of pork. The cuts are varied but we promise to include a proportionate amount of cuts relative to the yield of the animal.
Please keep in mind that a beef only produces so many T-Bone steaks but a lot of hamburger. Regardless, it is all of the highest quality. If you have a larger family or like to eat meat, then you may want to buy two or three shares depending on your needs.
Each share will take up one cubic foot of freezer space. This makes it easy for those who don't have a lot of freezer space.
We offer gourmet quality meats. We raise non-commercial heritage breeds that are raised ethically and sustainably, fed premium 100% vegetarian feeds grown in Utah, handled humanely, and processed in clean owner operated USDA inspected facilities. As always, we never use antibiotics, hormones, or any other chemical. The beef is never fed grain and is 100% grass fed.
We recognize that some customers prefer their ham and bacon cured/smoked while others prefer it fresh we give you the choice below. Please read through our "Order Pork" page if you would like more details about the difference.

15 lbs of Berkshire Pork of assorted cuts of chops, roasts, bacon, ground pork, ribs, and ham. Cuts come wrapped and packaged in portions small enough for two people.
15 lbs of Grass Fed Beef of assorted cuts of steaks (Rib, T-Bone, Round, and Sirloin), roasts, ground beef, stew meat, and ribs. All beef is dry aged to perfection and cuts come wrapped and packaged in portions small enough for two people.
