Rosemary Sprigs add the perfect finish to any roast or dish. Rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub that has leaves similar to hemlock needles. The leaves are used as a flavoring in foods such as stuffings and roast lamb, pork, beef, chicken and turkey. Rosemary contains a number of phytochemicals, including rosmarinic acid, camphor, caffeic acid, ursolic acid, betulinic acid, and the antioxidants carnosic acid and carnosol.
Dried herbs are generally more potent and concentrated than fresh herbs, you will need less. Typically three times the amount of fresh herbs as dry. For example, if a recipe calls for 1 Tablespoon of fresh Rosemary, you need only 1 teaspoon of dried, since 3 teaspoons equal 1 Tablespoon. Our Rosemary sprigs will add amazing flavoring to your next meal.
