Roasts are one of my favorite things to make, mostly because they are so easy and yummy! The leftovers are a huge bonus too! Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, french dip sandwiches, roast beef hash, roast and potatoes, poutine, etc. The possibilities are endless! We love this combination of simple spices on our family’s beef roasts.
Ingredients
- 1 3-4 lb. Christiansen's Family Farm Beef roast
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 2 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
- Place roast in slow cooker and add beef broth.
- Add diced onions, sprinkle dry onion soup mix, Italian seasoning, and pepper on top.
- Cook on High for 8-10 hours. The roast will be ready when it is so tender that it is falling apart.
